Please note that bag searches are in operation and any sharp objects such as knives will be confiscated.

J - Jurassic Fibre Fan Village
In association with Jurassic Fibre, Somerset County Cricket Club have launched a brand-new fan village for our Vitality Blast and One-Day Cup matches.
The new and improved Jurassic Fibre Fan Village will still be situated at the St James Street side of the Cooper Associates County Ground, but it has been reimagined and redesigned in order to give Members and ticket holders an even better matchday experience which will feature more space and a much wider range of entertainment, food and drink offerings.
The Jurassic Fibre Fan Village will open two hours before each match and as well as hosting a large selection of varied food and drink options and a 24-metre self-pouring bar, there will be live music before and after each match.
There will also be all manner of entertainment throughout, including a special virtual reality cricket game plus giveaways, competitions and much more!
In addition to this, there will be a ‘buy one get one free’ happy hour on Thatchers, Carlsberg, the Coca Cola range, spirit & mixer cans, wine and water before each match.
The Somerset players will now sign post-match autographs in the new fan village rather than in front of the Ondaatje Stands as they have done previously.
-
K - Knives
Bottles, glasses, banners, flags, weapons, or other similar articles (other than those approved by the Club) are not permitted and the Police and the Club Stewards shall have the right to confiscate any such articles, which at their absolute discretion they may consider could be a danger or insulting to other spectators.

The Club operates the following Members’ Areas for Championship and 50 over matches. These are only available to Somerset CCC Members with a valid card:
- The River Stand
- The Lord Ian Botham Stand
- Colin Atkinson Pavilion
- Marcus Trescothick Pavilion Elevated
Please note that for Vitality Blast matches, each seat in the ground will be sold on a first come first serve basis to both Members and Non Members
-
N - No Cash
Somerset County Cricket Club are reminding Members and supporters that the Cooper Associates County Ground is now a cashless venue.
There are several reasons why this decision has been taken:
Efficiency
Quicker payments result in reduced queues which means that you see more of the action. This equates to a better matchday experience for everyone in the ground.
Contactless payments can be completed in two seconds compared to the 15 seconds required for a cash transaction and eight seconds for a chip and pin transaction.
The time saved with card payments means our staff can be better focused on the speed of service and the needs of our customers. This should further enhance the matchday experience.
Reducing theft and fraud
Tap-to-pay technology is more reliable and secure than other forms of payment. The chip technology protects you against any fraudulent purchases through encryption and dynamic data technologies and means our Members and supporters can feel safe when attending a match at the Cooper Associates County Ground.
The Decline of Cash Payments
Across the country there has been a rapid decline in the use of cash over the last few years and this has been heightened with the global pandemic. It is forecast that cash will be used in fewer than 9% of payment transactions by 2028.
We are certain that the introduction of cashless payment will see improvements in respect of reduced queuing times and improving customer service on busy matchdays.
All major contactless credit and debit cards will be accepted as well as mobile, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
