Kian signed his first professional contract with the Club this winter.
The 19-year-old, a product of the Cornwall Pathway, signed a deal for the 2026 season.
Kian is a right-handed batter and right-arm bowler who attended Taunton School and plays his club cricket for Bridgwater CC.
In 2025, Kian featured in five Second XI County Championship matches for Somerset, scoring 202 runs at an average of 50.50 and a best of 121 not out. He also claimed eight wickets with a best of two for 22. His six Second XI T20 matches yielded 99 runs and seven wickets.
Kian’s form for the Second XI saw him named in the 2025 Metro Bank One Day Cup squad and his full Somerset debut came in the competition against Lancashire at the Cooper Associates County Ground in August, followed by a further opportunity during the win at Sussex where he scored 29 and claimed his maiden First XI wicket when he dismissed Oli Carter.
