Thatchers X Somerset – Apple Bobbing
2025 will see Somerset CCC continuing our long-standing relationship with Thatchers Cider.
As part of the Official Partnership, Thatchers will be backing the first ever professional Somerset Women’s team.
Ahead of this landmark season for women’s cricket, the Somerset players visited Thatchers Cider HQ at Myrtle Farm to take part in a number of challenges!
Challenge number one saw Jess Hazell come out on top against Sophie Luff in the Cider Bucket Challenge, whilst Emma Corney triumphed over Ellie Anderson in the Apple Bat Tap Challenge.
Today sees Alex Griffiths take on Chloe Skelton in the Apple Bobbing Challenge!
In 2025, The Thatchers logo will feature on the back of the team’s Vitality Blast shirt, whilst this summer will see the introduction of the Thatchers Player of the Match and Player of the Month awards for Somerset Women.
