Katie joins Gloucestershire on loan
Somerset wicketkeeper/batter, Katie Jones is set to join Gloucestershire on loan until August 31st.
The 19-year-old is a product of the Gloucestershire Pathway and will be returning to her home in time to be eligible for selection for their T20 fixture against Sussex Sharks tomorrow (Thursday July 17th).
Regarding the move, Somerset CCC Director of Cricket, Andy Hurry said: “This is the ideal opportunity for Katie to get back out onto the field and get some match time at a place that she knows well.
“Katie will be available for Somerset during this period should the Club decide to recall her, and we look forward to welcoming her back to the Cooper Associates County Ground later this summer.”
