Hannah Jones joins on loan
Somerset have signed Hannah Jones on a short-term loan deal.
The 26-year-old left-arm spinner will be available for Somerset’s Vitality Blast matches against Bears on Friday and The Blaze on Saturday.
A product of the Lancashire Pathway, Hannah has claimed 47 career T20 wickets at an average of 18.89 with a best of three for 17.
She has also represented Manchester Originals in The Hundred, taking eight wickets at an average of 25.
Regarding her signing, Somerset Head Coach, Trevor Griffin said: “With Liv Barnes picking up an injury at Essex and Lola Harris still unavailable, we felt that it was important to bolster our spin options.
“Hannah is a proven performer at this level, and her experience and prowess will add depth to our squad ahead of our next two matches in the Blast.”
