Behind the Wyvern Expanding to Somerset Women
Somerset CCC’s behind the scenes documentary series “Behind The Wyvern” has been a huge success over the last two years, and we are today announcing that we have given the Somerset Women a camera so that we can give Members and supporters a fly on the wall experience of their season!
2023 promises to be a big season for the Somerset Women, and thanks to Behind The Wyvern, you will be able to witness all of the action on and off the field from the players’ perspective.
Somerset County Sports will once again be sponsoring the series in 2023, continuing their long-standing links with the Somerset Women.
Somerset Pathway Coach & Women and Girls Lead, Kieran Peters said: “I think it will be really good. It’s a great opportunity for the girls to tell their story, which will hopefully help to raise awareness of the women’s game and inspire young girls across the region.
“There are some really good stories to tell in the women’s game and this is a great chance for the players to spread the word.”
James Brice, Managing Director of SCS added: “We are delighted to be continuing our support of Behind The Wyvern and Somerset Women. This unique behind the scenes perspective shows the Members and supporters the highs and lows of Somerset CCC’s season.
