Somerset Chief Executive, Gordon Hollins praised the efforts of the Club’s ground staff after the first day of the season had been abandoned one and a half hours before the scheduled start.
Umpires Alex Wharf and Rob Bailey ruled out any prospect of play in the LV= County Championship match against Warwickshire today after viewing a saturated outfield at the Cooper Associates County Ground.
