ALL ROADS LEAD TO MANCHESTER: ROUTE TO FINALS DAY

In the third round, SOMERSET overcame Yorkshire at Scarborough by nine runs. After winning the toss and batting first, Somerset posted a total of 183 for six thanks to half centuries from Niamh Holland (75) and Sophie Luff (51). Lauren Winfield-Hill made 65 from just 33 balls but Chloe Skelton and Erin Vukusic claimed three wickets each as the visitors restricted their hosts to 174 for seven.

In the quarter-final, Somerset beat Hampshire Hawks by 35 runs at Utilita Bowl Nursery Ground. After being invited to bat first, Somerset made 207 for seven thanks largely to Luff (80) and Heather Knight (44). Holland and Lola Harris then both claimed three wickets as Hampshire were dismissed for 172.

SURREY beat Worcestershire by 74 runs in the third round. Batting first they scored 171 for seven from their allotted overs before restricting their opponents 97 for seven in reply.

Surrey edged past Warwickshire by 10 runs in the quarter-final . After posting 200 for six, thanks to half centuries from Kira Chathli (56) and Aylish Cranstone (53), the team from the Kia Oval limited their opponents to 190 for six.

ESSEX defeated Gloucestershire by 61 runs in round three. After setting their opponents a victory target of 195, Essex limited Gloucestershire to 133 for eight.

The team from Chelmsford reached Finals Day after beating Northamptonshire in the quarter-finals. Chasing 124 for victory, Essex reached their target for the loss of just one wicket with 17 balls to spare.

THE BLAZE eased past Durham by eight wickets in round three. Hollie Armitage scored an unbeaten 81 as Durham made 167 for five. After losing Marie Kelly to the opening ball of the chase, The Blaze cruised to victory with nine balls to spare. Georgia Elwiss top scored with 93 from just 58 deliveries.

In the quarter-final, The Blaze overcame Lancashire by 65 runs. Batting first, the team from Trent Bridge posted a total of 160 for eight before bowling Lancashire out for just 95. Josie Groves was the pick of the bowlers, claiming four for 14.
