Regarding the number of players featuring in such tournaments, Somerset Director of Cricket, Andy Hurry said: “To have our players involved in these global competitions is outstanding. The individuals will benefit greatly from playing alongside and against the best players in the world and that can only benefit Somerset as a Club.
“The experiences that they will gain from competing in competitions like the ILT20 and the SA20 will aid their development and knowledge of the game. The exposure that they will gain will also help to increase the already global recognition that the Club receives.
“To have so many players involved in these competitions is testament to the talent that we have at Somerset and once again highlights the quality of the Player Pathway that we are rightly so proud of.”
