Riley called into Australian IT20 squad
Riley Meredith has been called into the Australian IT20 squad for their upcoming series against Scotland.
The 28-year-old seamer has been named as the replacement for Josh Hazelwood, who picked up a calf injury during training.
The three-match series gets underway on September 4th, meaning that Riley will now be unavailable for Somerset’s Vitality Blast quarter-final against Northants Steelbacks on September 5th.
If Somerset qualify for Vitality Blast Finals Day, Riley, who claimed 14 wickets in the group stage of the competition, would be available for selection.
