Overseas Update: January 2025

It’s time to catch up with our players who are currently spending the winter overseas.

Following his success in the Abu Dhabi T10 tournament, Tom Kohler-Cadmore has continued his good form.

He is currently in Dubai representing the Sharjah Warriors in the International League T20 competition alongside the likes of Adil Rashid, Jason Roy and Tim Southee.

He opened the tournament by scoring 83 not out from just 56 balls and claiming the player of the match award as his side overcame Gulf Giants by three wickets.

Tom Banton is also featuring in the ILT20.

The Somerset keeper/batter is playing for MI Emirates and he smashed his way to 74 from 52 balls to claim the player of the match trophy in the 26-run victory over Dubai Capitals. During the match he shared a 109-run partnership for the third wicket with Nicholas Pooran.

Niamh Holland has been in Australia representing Parramatta and her 35 not out just before Christmas helped her side to a seven-wicket victory over St George-Sutherland.

In her 10 matches for the club this winter, Niamh has scored 186 runs at an average of 37.2 with a best of 43. She also claimed 10 wickets at an average of 15.2 with a best of two for 12.

Fin Hill is currently in Australia playing for Eastern Suburbs.

The young all rounder has been in good form with the bat this winter and impressed again recently making 127 against Blacktown Mounties and 45 against UTS North Sydney.
