VIEW FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Ahead of the match, Somerset’s Metro Bank One Day Cup Head Coach, Paul Tweddle said: “I was really pleased with how things went in Devon on Sunday. The weather was frustrating, but the benefit of that was that we got to work to DLS and the guys handled that really well. It was good to get some miles in the legs and to re-learn the rhythm of 50-over cricket.

“We’ll be fielding a similar side against Cornwall tomorrow, and again it’s an opportunity to play a competitive match in the format ahead of the Metro Bank One Day Cup opener against Warwickshire on Friday. We’ve added Curtis Campher to the squad that traveled to Devon, and we’re excited that he’ll be joining us in time for this game.

“As I said prior to the match in Devon, these National County fixtures are an important part of the season. They provide our National County Partners with the platform to showcase the talent that they have at their disposal, and it’s a positive experience for all involved. The match against Cornwall is certainly a game that we’re looking forward to.”

NEXT MATCH
