Ahead of the match, Somerset Head Coach, Erin Osborne said: “The Yorkshire game showed that we can win from some really tricky situations. Credit has to go to the team because they hung in there and just kept trying to find ways to take wickets. I think we’ll learn a lot from that game and we’re looking forward to it.
“The Blaze are a class team. They’re very experienced, they’ve got a really well-balanced team, and we know that they can hurt us with both bat and ball, so we’re going to have to play some really good cricket to beat them.
“Only three teams go through from the group so it feels like every game is a must-win, so if we can sneak a win against the Blaze, it’ll definitely help us as we look to secure the last spot.”
