Kian to leave Somerset this winter
Somerset all-rounder, Kian Roberts will leave the Club at the end of this summer when his contract expires.
The 19-year-old, who is a product of the Cornwall Pathway, made his Somerset debut in last year’s Metro Bank One Day Cup against Lancashire at the Cooper Associates County Ground.
Kian went on to feature in six List A matches for the Club, scoring 112 runs and taking three wickets.
Somerset CCC Director of Cricket, Andy Hurry said: “We would all like to thank Kian for his dedication and hard work throughout his time on the Somerset Pathway and within the professional environment.
“Everyone associated with the Club wishes Kian well in his future endeavours.”
Regarding his departure, Kian said: “It was a dream come true to play for Somerset, so I’m gutted to be leaving. Thanks to everyone who’s supported me along the way and hopefully this isn’t the end of my journey”
