Ben extends Leicestershire loan
Somerset all-rounder, Ben Green has extended his red-ball loan spell at Leicestershire CCC.
The 27-year-old will be available for selection for the Foxes for their Rothesay County Championship Division Two matches against Glamorgan and Middlesex which take place in late June.
This extended loan agreement will not affect Ben’s availability for Somerset’s Vitality Blast fixtures.
Somerset CCC Director of Cricket, Andy Hurry said: “Ben is clearly benefiting from the extended exposure to First XI cricket that this loan spell has afforded him and we have therefore taken the decision to extend his red-ball loan period at Leicestershire.
“I would also like to reiterate that this agreement is for First Class cricket only and that Ben will therefore be available for selection for Somerset for all of our Vitality Blast matches.”
