TODAY’S WINNER IS…
LANDO NORRIS
Somerset CCC weren’t the only trophy winners from the County in 2025!
Last weekend, Somerset’s Lando Norris claimed the Formula One Drivers World Championship after a dramatic season which went right down to the very final Grand Prix of the year.
Lando, who was born is Bristol, raised in Glastonbury and educated at Millfield School, became the 35th driver to win the F1 drivers crown.
He is the 11th driver from England to achieve the accolade, and the second racer from Somerset to finish at the top of the driver’s standings, following in the footsteps of Frome’s Jenson Button who claimed the crown in 2009.
