Vertu Radios Free for Visually Impaired Fans
Somerset County Cricket Club further improved our matchday experience for Members and supporters in 2023 by introducing the Vertu Motors in-ear radios and they returned this summer!
The radios give visitors to the Cooper Associates County Ground the opportunity to listen to our award-winning ball-by-ball live stream commentary from their seats in the stands and pavilions.
We are committed to ensuring that our visually impaired Members and supporters have an enhanced matchday experience and the Vertu Motors in-ear radios can be accessed for free by our visually impaired supporters.
The earpieces are perfectly in-sync with the live commentary from the likes of Vic Marks, Peter Trego and Sophie Luff, to further elevate the quality of everyone’s experience at Somerset.
Members or supporters who require a free radio can collect one from Reception in the Marcus Trescothick Pavilion on matchdays.
The radios cost just £12 and if used correctly will last all season, with only a small battery needing to be replaced on occasion.
2024 promises to another exciting year for Somerset’s groundbreaking live stream production, and we are delighted be be welcoming back the likes of Vic Marks, Peter Trego and Sophie Luff to the commentary box.
Please note these radios are collection only from the Cooper Associates County Ground Andy Caddick Reception during office hours (Monday-Friday 9am until 5pm).
