Somerset named “The Best Atmosphere in the Blast” – AGAIN!
The atmosphere at the Cooper Associates County Ground has been officially named as “The Best in the Vitality Blast” for the third consecutive year.
The results of the ECB’s Experience Cricket survey were published recently and Somerset CCC came out on top.
An official ECB survey is sent to all Members and ticket holders from the 18 First Class Counties after each matchday and attendees are invited to score their experience across a raft of categories.
SCCC Commercial Director, Caroline Herbert is delighted that the Club has secured this accolade for the third year running: “To be named Best Atmosphere in the Blast again is something we are extremely proud of. It reflects the hard work, consistency and care that goes into every matchday at the Cooper Associates County Ground.
“This recognition belongs to our players, our staff and, importantly, our Members and supporters, whose passion and loyalty create an environment that people genuinely enjoy being part of. There’s a real sense of occasion at our Blast fixtures, and that’s something we’ve worked hard to build year after year.
“For us, atmosphere is about delivering a high-quality experience. Competitive cricket on the field, a welcoming and well-run venue off it, and a crowd that feels connected to what’s happening in front of them.
“It also reinforces what makes this Club such an attractive place for businesses to be involved. Our partners are associated with positive experiences, strong crowds and a setting that brings people together. We’re proud of that, and we’re focused on continuing to build on it.”
Be a part of the best atmosphere in The Blast!

E-Tickets
SCCC will once again be maintaining a paperless ticketing model in 2026.
The sole use of E-tickets or the use of the SCCC Ticketing App will reduce the environmental cost, drive efficiencies within the business, and increase security for our ticket purchasers.
The paperless system, which has been adopted by the vast majority of major sporting organisations and stadia within the UK, will make transactions easier as well as helping to reduce costs and wastages. It also helps to eliminate the possibility of ticket buyers falling foul of fraud and corruption by ensuring that our supporters are not exposed to overpriced counterfeit tickets or costly mark-ups on secondary ticketing websites.
By eliminating the need for physical ticketing, digital tickets contribute to environmental sustainability by reducing paper waste, energy consumption and carbon emissions associated with traditional ticketing processes. This in turn enables the Club to become more cost effective by reducing expenditure on ticket printing and distribution.
