Somerset County Cricket Club and Cooper Associates Group: A Decade of Success
Somerset County Cricket Club is proud to announce a new long-term partnership agreement with Cooper Associates Group, extending the successful collaboration between the two organisations until the end of the 2030 season.
The renewed agreement will see Cooper Associates Group continue as the Club’s Ground Naming Rights Partner and represents the largest single commercial deal ever concluded in the Club’s history. It marks a major milestone — celebrating 10 years of a mutually beneficial and values-driven partnership.
A Decade of On-Field Excellence
Since joining forces in 2016, Somerset CCC has enjoyed one of the most successful periods in its history. During this time, the Club has:
- Won the 2019 Royal London One Day Cup
- Won the 2023 Vitality Blast
- Won the 2025 Vitality Blast
- Established a fully professional Somerset Women’s team for the first time
This era has reflected the Club’s ambition, consistency and commitment to excellence — principles shared by Cooper Associates Group.
A World-Class Venue
Over the past decade, the Cooper Associates County Ground has developed into a globally recognised venue, hosting an impressive array of international and showcase events, including:
- Three ICC Men’s World Cup matches
- One Men’s IT20 international
- Two Women’s Test matches
- Five Women’s One-Day Internationals
- Seven ICC Women’s World Cup matches
- Six Women’s IT20 internationals
- A major arena concert by international music superstar Lionel Richie
In addition, the venue has been officially recognised as the “Best Atmosphere in the Blast” for the past three consecutive years — testament to the passion of Somerset supporters and the unique matchday experience in Taunton.
