Somerset CCC partner with Recover UK

Somerset County Cricket Club can today announce a new partnership with Recover Wellness Studios.

Located in Taunton’s Independent Quarter, Recover is a specialist recovery and wellness studio whose staff are dedicated to helping their clients perform at their best.

As part of this new relationship, Recover will provide recovery services to Somerset CCC players, which will support their preparation and help ensure that our squads remain in peak physical condition throughout the season.

Regarding the partnership, Somerset CCC Commercial Director, Caroline Herbert said: “There is no doubt that this relationship will be beneficial to our playing squads. Recover have clearly demonstrated that they share our commitment to achieving high performance and supporting athletes both physically and mentally. Hopefully, we will see this relationship taking us to the next level on the field of play.”

Joe Snow, Co-Founder of Recover Wellness Studios, said: “We’re proud to be supporting Somerset County Cricket Club with player recovery. With the volume of games across the season and the injuries that can come with elite sport, it’s important that we’re right on the Club’s doorstep to support both the men’s and women’s teams.

“Having grown up in Taunton, I know how much Somerset CCC means to the local community, and we want Recover to have a similar positive impact – whether that’s helping aspiring athletes reach their potential or helping experienced athletes extend their careers and enjoy a more comfortable retirement. We believe Recover is the right fit for professional sport, and we’ve already had the privilege of supporting members of the England Women’s cricket team.”

Founded by two brothers with a lifelong passion for sport, health and human performance, Recover offer a wide range of science-backed therapies, including contrast therapy – cold plunge and traditional sauna, infrared sauna with red light therapy and compression therapy, designed to aid recovery, enhance resilience and support overall wellbeing.

Recover are dedicated to helping people move and feel better through proactive approaches to health and recovery.
