International cricket returns to the Cooper Associates County Ground next summer.
The home of Somerset County Cricket Club will once again host a Women’s IT20 when England take on Bangladesh under the floodlights on Friday September 10th.
The fixture will be the second in a three-match IT20 series and forms part of a jam packed international calendar.

This continues a long association between England Women and the home of Somerset Country Cricket Club which began in 1997 when the team played at the venue for the first time. This ODI against South Africa saw Charlotte Edwards make her first ODI century.
In 2002, The Cooper Associates County Ground hosted its first Women’s Test when England faced India.
in 2009, The Cooper Associates County Ground became the ECBs Official Home of Women’s Cricket to coincide with Somerset CCC hosting all 12 group games in the ICC Women’s World Twenty20 competition.
In 2017, The Cooper Associates County Ground hosted seven matches in the ICC Women’s World Cup.
In total, the Cooper Associates County Ground has staged five Women’s Test matches, 24 WODIs and 25 WIT20s.
