VIEW FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Ahead of the game, Somerset Pathway Coach & Women and Girls Lead, Kieran Peters said: “There were some real highlights for us last time out against Wiltshire. Laila Moledina came in on her debut and made a really good 50. She looked so calm and composed well beyond her years, which is really exciting for her as an Under 15. Daisy Jeanes hit her first County 50 in what was her first game since Finals Day, which was great to see too.

“We’re always keen to get the local bragging rights when we play Cornwall, but we’re also delighted to be able to play some more 50-over cricket. We want to finish the summer on a high. There’s been some frustration due to the weather this summer, but we’re currently unbeaten going into this last game and everyone wants to keep that going.”
