Cornwall Women v Somerset Women
Cornwall won the toss and elected to field.
Tilly Eldridge claimed three early wickets as Somerset slipped to 46 for three in the 10th over.
However, an unbeaten 53 from Joleigh Roberts helped to ensure that the visitors posted 167 for nine from 41 overs before rain put paid to the Somerset innings.
Chasing a revised target of 144 from 34 overs, Cornwall had reached 12 for two from four overs when the rain began to fall again resulting in the abandonment of the game.
Somerset take on Cornwall in a 50-over match at Constantine CC tomorrow (Friday August 25th).
Play is due to get underway at 11am.

VIEW FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Ahead of the game, Somerset Pathway Coach & Women and Girls Lead, Kieran Peters said: “There were some real highlights for us last time out against Wiltshire. Laila Moledina came in on her debut and made a really good 50. She looked so calm and composed well beyond her years, which is really exciting for her as an Under 15. Daisy Jeanes hit her first County 50 in what was her first game since Finals Day, which was great to see too.
“We’re always keen to get the local bragging rights when we play Cornwall, but we’re also delighted to be able to play some more 50-over cricket. We want to finish the summer on a high. There’s been some frustration due to the weather this summer, but we’re currently unbeaten going into this last game and everyone wants to keep that going.”
