Ahead of the match, Somerset Head Coach, Erin Osborne said: “I think Saturday was a really good experience for the group. It was our first opportunity to play finals cricket, and although it was a disappointing result there were lots of positives coming from that. I thought the way we went about chasing it was really good to see so I think it bodes well for Thursday.
“Everyone knows that we’re sitting third and it’s really tight for that last spot. We understand that we’ve got a pretty tough run in so we’re going to have to play some really good cricket and probably win three out of four.
“Yorkshire are a quality side, they’ve got some experience in there and they’re playing some good cricket, so I think where they are on the table probably isn’t a fair reflection of the cricket that they’re capable of playing. We know we’re going to have to play really well up there and I think that we’re in a really good space to do that.”
