Matchday In-Ear Radios Free for Visually Impaired Supporters
In 2023, Somerset County Cricket Club further improved our matchday experience by introducing in-ear radios.
The radios give visitors to the Cooper Associates County Ground the opportunity to listen to our award-winning ball-by-ball live stream commentary during our home fixtures.
We are committed to ensuring that our visually impaired Members and supporters have an enhanced matchday experience and therefore the in-ear radios can be accessed for FREE by our visually impaired supporters.
Members and supporters who require a free radio can collect one from Reception in the Marcus Trescothick Pavilion.
Alternatively, the radios are available to purchase at a cost of £12.
2026 promises to another exciting year for Somerset’s groundbreaking live stream production, and we are delighted be be welcoming back the likes of Vic Marks, Peter Trego and Sophie Luff to the commentary box.
Please note these radios are collection only from the Cooper Associates County Ground during office hours (Monday-Friday 9am until 5pm).
If used correctly the radios will last all season, with only a small battery needing to be replaced on occasion.
