Langford Vets named Official Veterinary Partner

Somerset county Cricket Club are pleased to be able to announce that Langford Vets are now our Official Veterinary Partner.

Cricket is a unique sport and is one of the few elite live events which allows dogs into the venue on matchdays.

No county cricket ground is complete without canine companions curled up asleep at their owner’s feet.

Somerset CCC also has the most famous feline fan in British sport in the form of Brian the Cat!

Regarding the new partnership, Somerset CCC Commercial Director, Caroline Herbert said: “In addition to looking after the wellbeing of people’s beloved pets, Langford Vets are committed to training and educating those who wish to work within the veterinary sector, and it is this desire to help people achieve their goals which joins perfectly with our core values.

“A large majority of our Members and supporters have regular interaction with animals, whether that be with their domestic pets or working within the farming sector and I am sure that Brian the Cat will approve of this new partnership!”

Hattie Lawrence, Chief Executive Officer/Board Director, Langford Vets adsded: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Somerset County Cricket Club, a club that plays such an important role in the local community. With cricket being one of the few elite sports where dogs are part of the matchday experience—and with legendary fans like Brian the Cat—we feel this is a natural fit for Langford Vets.

“As a clinical teaching provider for the University of Bristol, we’re passionate about delivering exceptional care for animals while training the next generation of veterinary professionals to graduation and beyond. We’re excited to support Somerset’s Members and supporters, many of whom have strong connections with animals, and we look forward to working together over the coming season.”
