2023 saw record crowds for Metro Bank One Day Cup fixtures at the Cooper Associates County Ground, and we will once again be theming 50-over matchdays this summer.
Friday July 26th will see Somerset County Cricket Club hosting The Club Cricket Social!
Be a part of the biggest cricket party in the South West when we take on Kent in this floodlit 50-over match!
Throughout the day there will be a variety of discounts, competitions and activations which could see you winning prizes for your teams.
We have also teamed up with the Somerset African Caribbean Network to celebrate African Caribbean culture and promote the outstanding work that the organisation carry out.

Club cricketers wearing their club logo will receive a discount at the following concessions: Somerset Stand Bar, Lord Ian Botham Stand Bar, The Great Catch Fish & Chip Bar, Marcus Trescothick Pavilion Elevated Tier Concession, Marcus Trescothick Pavilion Lower Tier Concession, Stragglers Coffee House and the SCCC Fan Village Bar

Judges will decide which is the best-supported club on the day, and the winner will receive some free stock for their bar from Thatchers Cider.

There will be two free tickets for every club cricketer who scores a hundred or takes a five-for during the weekend of July 13th/14th
African Caribbean Celebration
Alongside the Somerset African Caribbean Network we will be bringing you a specially selected African Caribbean playlist in the fan village chosen by Famous DJ, Dave Chapple, Authentic African Caribbean food options, Authentic rum cocktails, a Windrush display in the fan village plus a display celebrating Somerset’s Black cricketers in the Somerset Cricket Museum.
This is our first fixture after the conclusion of the Vitality Blast group stage, so let’s keep the party going! Get together with your teammates (and opponents!) and enjoy the day as we celebrate the club game.
