John Bishop forced to cancel Stuff on the Stage appearance due to injury
We regret to inform you that unfortunately, John Bishop has broken his ankle and is now unable to travel to Taunton.
Therefore, regrettably, his appearance on Friday 11th September 2026 at Somerset County Cricket Club has been cancelled.
We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.
We know many of you will have been looking forward to the event, and we’re incredibly sorry for the disappointment that this will cause.
Somerset CCC CEO, Jamie Cox, said: “Obviously, it’s disappointing to be making this announcement, but John’s wellbeing has to be the main concern, and he must follow the medical advice he has been given.
“Somerset County Cricket Club will be offering full refunds to everyone who purchased tickets for the show.
“All ticket purchasers will be contacted via email and automatically refunded.
“We apologise for any disappointment caused by these circumstances, which are entirely beyond our control.
“We would like to wish John a speedy recovery and hope to see him back on stage again very soon.”
