Introducing our Accessibility Wristbands and Lanyards

Somerset County Cricket Club held an Accessibility Forum in January in a bid to communicate with anyone with additional access requirements and ask them to contribute to a conversation around the Club’s current provision as well as what improvements can be made to make SCCC more inclusive.

One of the actions arising from the forum has been to trial an optional matchday lanyard or wristband for the 2026 season. This will allow Members and supporters with additional support needs, which may be visible or not, to discreetly identify themselves to Club staff. This will enable SCCC to provide assistance quickly and efficiently.

We are aware that busy match days present added challenges for people with additional needs. We therefore anticipate that these wristbands and lanyards will be most needed at Vitality Blast fixtures. It is therefore apt that they will be worn and recognised in the ground for the first time at our opening Blast Double Header on Friday May 22nd.

Our Disability Liaison Officer, Jane Law will be on hand at all Vitality Blast fixtures with our ticketing, stewarding and safety teams, to assist in any way she can.

If anyone would like to request a wristband or lanyard, please complete the simple form via the link below:
