Somerset County Cricket Club can today announce the launch of a brand-new matchday venue at the Cooper Associates County Ground this summer.
Officially opening its doors this Friday for the Vitality Blast double header against Hampshire Hawks, “Joel’s” promises to deliver an exciting new social experience for supporters attending matchdays in Taunton.
Designed to offer fans a vibrant and relaxed atmosphere before, during and after the action on the field, Joel’s will become the newest hub of entertainment at the home of Somerset cricket. It is located behind Block Five of the Somerset Stand, near the Joel Garner Gates.
To celebrate the opening night, supporters can enjoy live DJ sets before play, throughout the interval and after the match, helping to create a fantastic atmosphere for what promises to be a memorable evening under the lights.
The launch of Joel’s forms part of Somerset CCC’s continued commitment to enhancing the matchday experience for Members and supporters alike, offering a fresh and modern venue where fans can meet friends, enjoy a drink and soak up the electric matchday atmosphere.
Joels will operate as a flexible matchday space which will provide a varied range of offerings depending on the match or event. From an exclusive hospitality space for the Vitality Blast to a vibrant post-match venue, Joels is the ideal setting for your matchday experience.
Gloucestershire Vitality Blast Hospitality Offer
As part of the official launch celebrations, the Club is also introducing a special one-off package for Somerset’s Vitality Blast double header fixture against Gloucestershire and Durham on Friday June 26th.
Limited to just 85 people, the exclusive offer is priced at only £65 per person and includes private access to Joel’s throughout the evening, a complimentary drink on arrival and a guaranteed allocated seat in Block 5 of the Somerset Stand to enjoy all the action on the pitch.
