To whet your appetite we’re taking a look back on India’s previous visits to the home of Somerset County Cricket Club.
India Women have played at the CACG on 13 previous occasions and over the next few weeks, we will be looking back at those matches.
2009
Taunton hosted 12 group stage matches in the 2009 ICC T20 World Cup with India featuring in three of those.
ENGLAND v INDIA
India Captain, Jhulan Goswami won the toss and elected to bat first.
Holly Colvin took three for 20 as England limited their opponents to 112 for eight from their allotted overs. Mithali Raj top scored with 29 whilst Nicki Shaw claimed two for 28.
In reply, Charlotte Edwards hit 61 not out from 53 balls and Sarah Taylor scored 50 not out from 41 balls as the host nation eased to victory by 10 wickets from just 15.4 overs.
England will be looking for a similar result when the two sides meet at the CACG in June!

INDIA v PAKISTAN
After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Pakistan were dismissed for just 75 from 19.5 overs.
Priyanka Roy was the destroyer-in-chief, claiming five for 16, whilst Rumeli Dhar took three for 13.
India slipped to 36 for four, but 37 not out from Anjum Chopra helped her side to a five wicket victory.

INDIA v SRI LANKA
India also claimed a five-wicket victory in their third match when they overcame Sri Lanka.
The match was reduced to 18 overs per side and after electing to bat first Sri Lanka finished on 94 for six. Deepika Rasangika top scored with 24 not out, whilst there were two wickets each for Rumeli Dhar and Gouher Sultana.
India reached the required target with seven balls to spare. Mithali Raj top scoring with 32 not out from just 22 balls.

2011
India faced England at the Cooper Associates County Ground in the NatWest International T20 series in 2011.
It was a match that saw England come out on top by 46 runs.
After winning the toss and electing to bat, Charlotte Edwards saw her side slip to eight for two after two overs.
However, Claire Taylor smashed her way to 66 from just 46 balls as England were dismissed for 134 from 19.5 overs. Jhulan Goswami was the pick of the India attack, claiming three for 20. There were also three wickets for Snehal Pradhan.
