Help Support Connor’s London Marathon Dream

Somerset Super 1s participant, Connor Hyde will become the first ever Lord’s Taverners cricket programme participant to take on the challenge of running the London Marathon for the charity on April 27th.

Connor, who lives with epilepsy and cerebral palsy, has always dreamt of running the London Marathon and been part of the Super 1s programme for over five years.

Cricket has changed his life – giving him confidence, community, and even a pathway into coaching.

His passion for the sport has led him to earn coaching qualifications, and he now inspires others as a coach for multiple teams, including the Somerset disability county cricket team.

His dedication was recognised when he received a Super 1s Inspire Award in 2023 and he was also honoured at the 2024 Sport Gives Back Awards.

Now, Connor is on a mission to give something back by raising £7,500 to support Lord’s Taverners in their 75th anniversary year and you can help by making a donation
