At Harris Fowler, we understand the importance of early specialist rehabilitation for injured people, to maximise the prospects of the quickest and best possible recovery. In the same way that the specialist rehabilitation team at Somerset Cricket Club, seeks to get their injured cricketers back to full fitness , and available for selection as quickly as possible, at Harris Fowler we meet the needs of injured people by providing access to rehabilitation services for our clients at an early stage , so that they can hopefully return to work as quickly as possible, improve their quality of life, and regain their independence.
Rehabilitation can take many forms. It can involve medical treatment for physical and psychological injuries such as specialist physiotherapy, and therapy. It can also involve services such as the provision of orthotics ( medical aids such as splints ) , prosthetics ( artificial limbs) , a professional care plan, and adaptions to the home. In serious injury cases, a professional case manager may need to be appointed to co-ordinate, implement, and monitor the options and rehabilitation services available to meet the seriously injured persons` needs.
Once rehabilitation has taken place , then compensation can be agreed or awarded for, the physical and psychological injury, taking into account a number of factors including the extent of the recovery and the prognosis, and any consequential losses the injured person has incurred or will incur in the future, such as loss of earnings , private medical treatment, and the provision of care. The aim of compensation is to put the injured person back, as far as possible, to the position they would have been but for the injury.
At Harris Fowler we act for injured people who have been involved in many different types of accident , the most common being accidents at work, road traffic accidents , and medical negligence. We act on a “ No Win No Fee “ basis so injured people can seek access to rehabilitation services and compensation with, no risk or upfront cost to them. If you are an injured person who has been involved in an accident please contact Harris Fowler on 0800 213 214 or email at enquiries@harrisfowler.co.uk
