After the game, Lewis Gregory said: “It’s been a bit of fun and it’s really nice that there were over 2500 people here today, but obviously we’re here to try and raise some money for what’s a pretty serious cause and a pretty devastating disease. Hopefully, today’s fun and games is going to be pretty helpful towards the charity and I hope that a lot of people have had a good day. There were some funny moments and it was great to have such a big crowd in supporting the day.

“I think the rugby boys were a little bit nervous when they first rocked up, but I think they got into it and Max Malins played brilliantly! He got 80-odd and showed that he’s a little bit of a talent

“TKC and Jamie spoke at one of the T20s because Jamie was down watching and the idea just came about. Those two are having a chat about trying to sort out a game and Jamie messaged the Saracens lads and pretty much instantly they had their batting eleven sorted out! A massive thanks has to go to them for coming down. It’s quite a trek for them to come down and play in this game.”
