Charity Shirt Auction

Somerset supporters have the opportunity to bid for a piece of cricketing history as part of a charity auction being run in memory of Barnaby Webber and Grace O’Malley-Kumar.

Barnaby and Grace lost their lives last June when walking home from a night out in Nottingham, and their families have since each established charitable foundations in their honour.

The Barnaby Webber Foundation and the Grace O’Malley-Kumar Foundation have a particular focus on supporting young people facing life challenges, with the aim of ensuring no child ever feels lonely or overwhelmed.

Grace, who played for Essex’s age group teams, and Barnaby, who attended Taunton School, were both keen cricketers, and their respective foundations will support grassroots sport.

The cricket community has once again demonstrated that is a close-knit family, with players from across the country donating items to be sold.
