Somerset County Cricket Club are delighted to announce a brand-new partnership with Eurilait.

Based in Evercreech, Shepton Mallet, Eurilait are one of the UK’s major suppliers of authentic and innovative speciality cheese and dairy products, supplying the UK retail, industrial and foodservice markets.

The initial one-year agreement will see the name of Eurilait’s consumer facing brand, ‘Paysan Breton’, appear on the collar of Somerset’s County Championship and One-Day Cup shirts.

Paysan Breton is a cooperative owned by passionate farmers dedicated to the welfare of their herd. Their cream cheeses are delicately whipped, giving a light and airy texture. When you pair this with the finest French ingredients you have a cream cheese that has an unrivalled fresh and natural taste.

As part of the partnership, Eurilait branding will also appear on the exterior of the Jimmy Cook suite in the Ondaatje Pavilion, and they will sponsor two high profile Somerset players, the details of this will be revealed shortly.

Regarding the partnership, SCCC Commercial Director, Caroline Herbert said: “We are extremely excited to launch this new relationship with Eurilait. We are constantly striving to build new partnerships with organisations from across the region in a bid to take cricket to a wider audience, which in turn will raise awareness of the companies and brands that we are aligned with.

“It is with great pleasure that we welcome Eurilait to the Somerset Cricket Family, and I am sure that this will be a beneficial partnership for all concerned.”

Craig Brayshaw, Eurilait’s Managing Director added: “We are delighted to support Somerset County Cricket Club. As a fellow business based in Somerset we love their slogan: ‘We Are Somerset’.

“Paysan Breton cream cheese is looking forward to supporting this esteemed Club and bringing a taste of France to future events.”
