Alliance Medical Extend Official Partnership
Somerset County Cricket Club can today announce that Alliance Medical have extended their Official Partnership.
Founded in 1989, Alliance Medical Limited is Europe’s leading independent provider of imaging services operating across the continent – in the UK, Germany, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, Norway and Spain.
In the UK, they deliver imaging services across 46 static sites and 64 mobile scanners, including a diagnostic centre at Blackbrook Business Park, Taunton.
They are a trusted and sustainable partner to the NHS and also provide private healthcare imaging services for insured and self- funding patients.
Alliance Medical will remain as the Club’s Official Diagnostic Healthcare Partner in 2026 and will continue to work alongside Somerset CCC’s Science & Medicine Team, providing scans and imaging when required. They will also be members of our In-Field Business Club whilst retaining there presence at the Cooper Associates County Ground on specified matchdays.
SCCC Clinical Director, Jamie Thorpe said: “Our Sport Science and Medicine Team are absolutely delighted to be renewing with Alliance Medical for the 2026 season. The partnership has been pivotal in improving our diagnostic imaging provision for the players.
“They provide high-quality, fast and accurate imaging, allowing Somerset to provide the best possible care with specific interventions, faster onward referral, and optimising return-to-play decision making.
“Alliance Medical are an integral part of our Medical Performance Team and we are really looking forward to continuing our great relationship with them.”
