2025 Vitality Blast Shirts Revealed

In 2023, Somerset became the first County to introduce a batting and bowling shirt for the Vitality Blast and this summer will see the Club continue to wear two distinct shirts.

Once again the dual aspect shirt designs retain the bowling and batting specific variations and represent the required skill sets employed by the players in each innings. As the cricketing disciplines needed in T20 cricket become more and more specialist, having a different shirt for the two facets of the game is designed to help amplify the players focus on the different skills required.

This year’s designs have been simplified to create impact and represent the drama of the T20 format.

The batting shirt shows six rectangles which represent a bat at various angles highlighting six scoring shots that batters will look to achieve in each over.

The bowling shirt features six discs, one for each delivery in an over with each disc pitched at a different length as it approaches the batter.

This season’s shirts will be worn by both our Men’s and Women’s teams.

Both shirts also feature the special 150th anniversary Club crest.
