Somerset County Cricket Club are delighted to be able to announce that we have now sold 1000 Women’s Memberships!
This summer has seen a professional Somerset Women’s team take to the field for the first time and the backing that they have received from Somerset Members and supporters has been incredible.
After reaching this milestone, SCCC Commercial Director, Caroline Herbert said: “It is abundantly clear that there is a demand for professional women’s cricket in the region and we are delighted by the volume of support that the team has received. It’s been fantastic to see the backing that the players have received here at the Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton Vale Sports Club and Exmouth CC.
“The appetite for participating in and viewing women’s sport is at an all time high and it is a privilege to be one of the organisations at the forefront of this. I would like to take this opportunity thank all of our 1000 Somerset Women Members for their support.”
