So you want to be an SAS soldier?

Join us on Thursday May 30th when we host a special lunch time event in the Long Room.

“So you want to be an SAS soldier?” features a former SASR combat assault dog handler, giving an insight into the missions of a war zone with his assault dog called Stone.

Hear true stories from the battlefield, including four tours to Afghanistan, four tours to Iraq and a total of 14 global operational tours.

You can not imagine the work and determination that goes into not only entering a theatre of battle, but the incredible work this canine and his master cover.

Given the content of the stories, they may include words that some may find offensive and therefore the event is for those aged 18 or over.

The event begins at 12:30pm and includes a fish and chip lunch.

Tickets cost just £35 per person
