From live concerts to open air cinema screenings plus all the drama of football’s European Championships, there’s something for everyone at the home of Somerset County Cricket Club this summer.
Today we are taking a look at our three open air cinema features that are taking place on the outfield at the Cooper Associates County Ground.
Saturday June 22nd – The Incredibles
Once, one of the world’s top masked crimefighters, Bob Parr–known to all as “Mr. Incredible”–fought evil and saved lives on a daily basis. Fifteen years later, Bob and his wife–a famous superhero in her own right–have adopted civilian identities and retreated to the suburbs to live normal lives with their three kids.
Now he’s a clock-punching insurance claims adjuster fighting boredom and a bulging waistline. Itching to get back into action, Bob gets his chance when a mysterious communication summons him to a remote island for a top-secret assignment!
Gates Open at 1:45pm with the film set to start at 2:30pm.

Sunday June 23rd – Barbie & Mamma Mia
Barbie
Eccentric and individualistic, Barbie is exiled from Barbieland because of her imperfections. When her home world is in peril, Barbie returns with the knowledge that what makes her different also makes her stronger.
Gates Open 13:45 with the feature presentation to begin at 2:30pm.

Mamma Mia
Donna (Meryl Streep), an independent hotelier in the Greek islands, is preparing for her daughter’s wedding with the help of two old friends. Meanwhile Sophie, the spirited bride, has a plan. She secretly invites three men from her mother’s past in hope of meeting her real father and having him escort her down the aisle on her big day.
This film will be starting at 5:15pm with gates opening at 4:30pm.
