Introducing the Eurilait Speed Gun!

In conjunction with Commercial Partner, Eurilait, Somerset County Cricket Club are set to install of one of the first permanent County Cricket speed radar guns at the Cooper Associates County Ground.

Eurilait are set to become the domestic game’s first ever Speed Gun Partner, after assisting the Club to invest in the technology.

Following successful trials over the past few summers with the ECB, the Eurilait Speed Gun will accurately monitor the speed of a bowler’s delivery during matches at the Cooper Associates County Ground, further improving the live stream experience that Somerset Members and supporters currently enjoy. This will be in pace for all professional and recreational filmed matches held at the ground.

Regarding the latest technological addition Head of Digital, Ben Warren said: “I’m really thankful to Eurilait for backing this project to bring a speed gun permanently to the Cooper Associates County Ground.

“It’s something we’ve been really keen to install after the successful trials that supporters may have noticed over the last few years. I’m really looking forward to seeing the speed data feed through onto the live stream for all cricket, once installed.”
