Full details announced for Festival of Red Ball Cricket

We recently announced that we would be hosting our first ever Festival of Red Ball Cricket during June’s Rothesay County Championship fixture against Nottinghamshire.

Red ball cricket is the quintessential format of the game and we want to celebrate the traditions, heritage and everything else that makes multi-day cricket so special.

For the four days of the match, which begins on Sunday June 29th, we will be championing and shining a light on the long form of the game.

We are pleased to be able to announce the details of the event:

The event also coincides with County Cricket Day which is a fan-led campaign to celebrate County Championship cricket, and this year is encouraging as many people as possible to attend a men’s game on Sunday June 29th and a women’s match on Sunday July 6th.

Conceived by cricket fans, County Cricket Day promotes the importance of affordable and accessible cricket while giving fans a chance to support their counties.
