This exciting event will take place on Friday July 26th.
Somerset v Kent in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup is the match, with emphasis on cricket on a county-level present. For as many people to be present down at the Cooper Associates County Ground, there will be a competition up and running for those looking for a wonderful day of live cricket down in Taunton.
The weekend coming up all club cricketers who are participating in a match 13/14th July, if they manage to take 5 wickets or manage to hit a century will be eligible to receive two free tickets for this encounter.
To be able to receive this too-good-to-be-true prize, any worthy cricketers will have to tweet the club with their results. This would have to be through a photo of the scoreboard from your match.

Club Cricketer Day
The Somerset Cricket Foundation will be running a wide range of inflatables in the carpark next to the Marcus Trescothick Pavilion. There will be a leaderboard in place for this activity and the person who wins will be able to win grants and funding for their specific cricket club.
There will be a 20% discount in place for any food and drink purchased at the ground. This discount will apply to anybody attending who wears their side’s club logo.
Representatives of these club cricket teams will be able to participate in a catching challenge against one-another in the interval.
The best supported club in attendance on the day will have their bar stocked for free courtesy of Thatchers!
African Caribbean Celebration
Somerset will be working in partnership with the Somerset African Caribbean Network.
